“Up the Dubs”. A phrase guaranteed to impress your new Dublin friends on your Irish Stag and to make them a laugh. Dubs has nothing to do with dubstep, just to let you know. Dubliners (or Dubs for short) are what residents of the city are called. Of course if there’s a match in which the Dublin County Hurling or Gaelic Football team are playing, Dubs can also refer to the team i.e. “Come on the Dubs” or “Go on the Dubs”. The colour of the city as you’ll see when you get here is blue – all Dublin Hurling and Football teams play in blue and so does the Leinster Rugby team (3 time European Champions). Gaelic Football is a seriously physical game – check out this link here to a Dublin – Donegal match from 2011.

SAMPLE Blog Entry 5  So welcome to the very first thedublinstagcompany.co.uk blog. We’re experts at this sort of thing. We’ve run companies like this before, we know Dublin. We’re very excited today to launch our new site. We’re really buzzing as they say in Dublin (no we’re not on anything, well maybe a little Red Bull). Dublin is a really cracking city, big enough to have a mighty stag in but not so big that half the lads get lost.
